DJ Akbar Sami Returns to the US, First Time in Portland
Portland, OR July 1st, 2010 — McMenamins and Bollywood Dreams Entertainment (LLC) proudly present one of India’s top Bollywood DJ’s to Portland.
Known by his fans worldwide as the Remix King, DJ Akbar Sami has been churning out hit club remixes of Bollywood film songs for over two decades. To his credit DJ Akbar Sami has created official remixes for blockbusters like Wanted, Partner, Bhool Bhulaiya, Heyy Baby, Namaste London, Garam Masala, The Train, Fool n Final etc.
In 2009, Akbar Sami took it to the next level as a producer and scored music for Bollywood movie Fast Forward. His discography includes: Jalwa, Jalwa II and Jadoo.
DJ Akbar Sami returns to the U.S. for the fourth time as part of his Jalwa 2010 Tour with stops in New York, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Seattle, the Bay Area, and for the first time, Portland.
This momentous show will take place on Saturday, July 31st 2010, inside Lola’s Room at The Crystal Ballroom. Doors open at 8pm for an audience of 21 and above only.
Tickets are $15 in advance ($20 at the door) and available through Ticketmaster as well as at the Crystal Ballroom Box Office.
