Founder of Jai Ho! Dance Party (2010) & Dance United (2017), Prashant is an Ex-Intel engineer turned Choreographer & DJ based out of Portland, Oregon.

His effervescent personality & charisma instantly strike a chord with audiences of all ages & backgrounds. Prashant regularly performs across the United States moving masses to an interactive open format DJ set featuring an irresistible blend of the world’s greatest dance music.

Founded in 2010, and directed by founder Caitlin Brozna-Smith, Bella Diva World Dance is a Denver-based international dance company who offers both instructional Bollywood dance classes and professional themed Bollywood performances. Their mission is to empower women with a greater sense of self-confidence and body positivity through the expression and study of world dance. Bella Diva believes dance is for every BODY, age, orientation and background where students are able to shed weight from within and without. Seeking to elevate intercultural dance styles to performance art while creating a community for their dancers to be part of, Bella Diva offers a truly unique dance experience.

Khurram is a Pakistani American rapper, singer, song writer and producer who mixes modern day hip hop sounds with hints of traditional Arabic and desi influences. Khurram’s music consists of conscious rap and also newer melodic rap which continues to change as he progresses in his journey.

║Jai Ho! in Denver║

Prashant moved to the US from India in 2003 for graduate school at Cornell University and started DJing, teaching dance + hosting events after quitting a full-time job at Intel back in 2009.

Since then, he has traveled regularly across the west coast, Denver, and New Orleans putting on MAD AWESOME dance parties creating and fostering communities centered around celebrating world music & dance with a focus on South Asian culture.

We started Bollywood nights in Denver in 2018 at Your Moms House & are stoked to be at Paradise Tavern for our Pre New Year’s Eve Bash!
