What started in 2011 as a choreography to a mashup of a Bollywood wedding song with Michael Jackson’s Thriller has transformed into a Halloween time sub-culture in the Pacific NW over the years.

HIGH DIVE REOPENING GUIDELINES
We ask that all patrons respect our new safety policies:
WHAT WILL BE CHECKED AT THE DOOR?
All individuals are required to present an official government photo ID and one the following prior to entry:
– Proof of Covid-19 full vaccination (defined as TWO shots of Pfizer/Moderna vaccine or ONE shot of Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least 14 days prior to entry) as documented by an original vaccine card, photocopy of card, photo of card on mobile device, or an approved vaccine verification app.
OR
– Proof of a negative COVID-19 lab test administered within 48 hrs of arrival at one of the approved locations found here (King County) or here (WA State) or any State DOH approved lab testing facility (rapid tests or at home tests are not accepted). Test results must have been transmitted to you electronically (via email or healthcare portal) and logged with State DOH and must display the name of facility, date/time of test (within 48hrs of entry to venue) and your name (must match your Photo ID).

Creating a safe & celebratory space is my number one priority at every event I host.
And I would love for you to be an accomplice of mine by greeting & treating everyone like you would like to be treated. With equality, mutual respect, and a big smile.
I know this does not apply to you because you are awesome but for the other people who it may be relevant to, I have zero tolerance for bigotry, racist remarks and general reckless behavior including but not limited to fighting, inappropriate touch, etc.
Anyone found engaging in such behavior will be thrown out at once & may never be able to attend my dance parties again.
If you see something, say something by bringing it to the attention of the venue staff or me directly. <3

A brief history of JAI HO! in Seattle:
I moved to the US from India in 2003 for graduate school at Cornell University, and started DJing, teaching dance + hosting events in Portland after quitting a full-time job at Intel in 2009.
Since April 2010, I have traveled up to Seattle & produced MAD AWESOME dance parties starting at Little Red Theater, Chop Suey (monthly 2011-2014), and at Nectar Lounge 2014 onwards.
Pre-covid I was bringing Jai Ho! to dance floors in Portland, Seattle, San Diego, L.A., New Orleans, and Denver on a regular basis.
I am actively looking for teammates to help with social media & event organization in these cities. Please connect with me up if this is something of interest to you. 🙂

There is plenty of street parking available, as well as public transportation near by.
