Amidst, DJs, hip hoppers and rappers, there exists turntablists, though a very few in India. The Spindoctor, a name, who has held strong this genre in India for more than 12 years now.

The Mumbai-based DJ / Dr. Sanjay Meriya, AKA The Spindoctor, has established himself as a Premier DJ that creates and performs Electronic Dance Music, including remixes of club and Hip Hop favourites, house, and Amalgamations of other styles.

He is known as the number one Turntablist in India with various skills such as Scratching, Beat Juggling, sampling, etc.
