Founder of Jai Ho! Dance Party & Dance United, Prashant is an ex-Intel engineer turned Choreographer & DJ based out of Portland, Oregon. His effervescent personality & charisma instantly strikes a chord with audiences of all ages & backgrounds. Prashant regularly performs across the United States moving masses with an open format DJ set to an irresistible blend of world’s greatest dance music. The interactive dance lessons cleverly disguised in his performance compel everybody to rock the dance floor, transforming any dance party into a full-fledged Bollywood musical within minutes.
DJ NAYIRAM:
This DJ is an articulate, musically driven person who enjoys entertaining with a wide variety of Afrobeats and diverse genres – In his opinion, a DJ must always play what he loves and ignore what’s “trendy” because true passion always eclipses what’s fashionable.
DJ LAKSHAY:
An engineer by profession, Lakshay has been pursuing his passion for DJing since his college days, spinning for private events in Delhi back in India.
With an ear for Bollywood, Bhangra and House music, this guy from Punjab is sure to keep you moving on the dance floor with his high energy sets, all night long.

Jai Ho! Dance Troupe
This Portland-based dance troupe led by Brittany Newton shares positive vibes by bringing the best of Indian culture to the dance floor. The Jai Ho! Dance Troupe members believe there is a Bollywood star in all of us. With interactive lessons and engaging performances, the Jai Ho! troupe has inspired crowds from the most intimate nightclubs to historic theatre stages to express themselves through music and dance. The eclectic dancers of this semi-professional troupe come from all walks of life, united for their love of all things Bollywood.
DJ Infinity is a Portland native who was literally born into the music scene; she grew up in her family’s entertainment business as a DJ/Singer/Dancer/Saxophonist and love’s to travel the world sharing her passion for music and dance. She loves to create her own music and has a massive love affair with spinning Latin music! Earlier this year she was featured in New York’s Lifoti magazine for her original Country/EDM creation of the song “Hoedown” not quite Latin but it’s got a beat that makes you want to dance! Along with her musical endeavors Infinity is also making a splash in the acting world – she starred in the movie “The Wrong Wife” earlier this year and appeared in Disney’s “Timmy Failure” and Nicolas Cage’s newest movie that was just filmed here in Portland. She will also be performing and teaching at the Hawaii Salsa Congress with her dance partner and husband Mark Stauffer.
